Tthe most important thing is to be yourself. If you’re bringing two outfits, save your favorite for the second half. If you’re wearing only one, arrive in that. Just be mindful if you need to change, since many locations don’t allow toilet use and it’s difficult to carry extra items with you.

Dresses, flowy shorts, and similar pieces work well. If your shoes are tricky to walk in, bring flats so you can move around easily. Let’s face it! For guys, it’s always easier. Choose outfits that make you feel awesome and comfy! Aim for neutral colors. Add some accessories for more interest like hats, glasses, watch and so much more. Cut your hair 3-4 days before so the hair have some time to blend a bit.

Honesty is mandatory, and vulnerability is encouraged. I can only capture your true dynamic if you let me into your space. Remember how you act when you’re alone, and don’t hide it. Embrace both the goofy laughter and the quiet, vulnerable moments. I will guide you through everything during the shoot, but I need you to meet me halfway and let me into your intimacy. Just be you! It sounds obvious, but sometimes it’s hard to truly commit. Let your dynamic set the tone and mood of the shoot, not what you think a session should look like. Are you goofballs? Are you introverted? I want to see all those little moments you might otherwise call “outtakes.” Don’t act like what you think you should I want to capture you as you really are. FORGET THE “PHOTO SHOOT” PART

You’re not there for me. I’m there for you: to document your love. The objective isn’t just to take pretty pictures. It’s to capture an exciting stage in your life, while spending time together. It’s very likely that the last time you got your picture taken “professionally” was for an awkward high school photo or for super posed family portraits. I promise you, it will be nothing like that. So forget the photos, and focus on enjoying the evening!

GUIDE FOR PERFECT TIMING AND LOCATION

We are obsessed with light, and we LOVE exploring new places, so the sky is the limit and time is the key. The best hour to get beautiful soft images is early morning or late evening, but if you want vivid colors you must choose mid-day sun. The location really comes down to what you want in your photos.
